| Description: | The Wendel Works, established in 1999, is a nationally recognized custom fabrication studio specializing in inspired window and bedding designs. Owner Gillian Wendel brings years of design and fabrication expertise to each project with undivided attention to detail. Gillian has been a frequent speaker at the annual International Window Coverings Expo as well as the Custom Sewing Institute. She is a four time winner of the IWCE Vision Ingenuity Workroom Competition, a member of The Drapery and Design Professional Network, and Past President of the Houston Area Custom Drapery Association. |
| Services: | I consult and fabricate for all window coverings designs including drapery and roman shades as well as shutters, shades, bedding and small soft upholstery projects. I also provide a fully stocked library of designer fabrics, trims, and hardware. With a workroom on site, I provide a comprehensive experience from consultation, measuring and design through fabrication and installation. |
